The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia is a non-competitive, self-development program that empowers young people to set and achieve personal goals that align with their individual abilities and aspirations. It promotes the development of leadership, community service, personal growth, and initiative through a structured yet flexible framework.
ºÚÁÏÉçÇø offers students the opportunity to participate in the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels of the Award. Each level consists of four core components:
- Physical Recreation
- Skills
- Voluntary Service
- Adventurous Journey
These components are designed to promote physical fitness, cultivate new skills, engage with the community, and encourage exploration. The Adventurous Journey, a highlight of the Award, challenges participants to step outside their comfort zone through expeditions that foster resilience, teamwork, and self-discovery.
Participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is entirely voluntary, with each participant designing a program tailored to their personal interests, passions, and goals. This flexibility allows students to take ownership of their development journey and to progress at their own pace.
